Rev. Dr. Karen Joy King has been a faithful servant, teacher, and encourager in the Fayette community for many years. As the founder and pastor of New Beginnings Ministries, she has a heart for helping people experience the love of Christ in every area of life. Her ministry is built on the belief that God cares about the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—and that the church should be a place where people can truly heal, grow, and begin again.

Dr. King is known for her sincere, down-to-earth way of preaching and teaching. She has a gift for making the Word of God clear, practical, and life-giving. Pastor Brian Meek serves as the Associate Pastor of New Beginnings Ministries and has a deep burden to teach and preach the Word of God in a way that is clear, sound, and spiritually strengthening. He believes the Bible is not meant to be skimmed over or softened to fit the times—it is meant to be understood, obeyed, and lived. 

His heart in ministry is to help people grow deeper in their faith, see God more clearly, and walk with greater purpose and conviction. Pastor Brian is especially passionate about helping believers move beyond surface Christianity into a stronger, steadier, more mature walk with the Lord. His preaching and teaching aim to bring truth, insight, encouragement, and a call to action. 

He counts it a privilege to serve the people of New Beginnings Ministries and the Fayette community, standing alongside the church leadership to help strengthen the body of Christ. Whether through preaching, teaching, or personal ministry, his desire is to point people to Jesus Christ and remind them that God is still faithful, still working, and still calling people into deeper things.

Stacey Meek serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of New Beginnings Ministries, faithfully supporting the ministry through organization, stewardship, and a willing heart to serve wherever needed. She is a steady and dependable part of the church’s day-to-day operations, helping care for many of the important details that allow ministry to move forward smoothly. 

With a heart for the church and the people in it, Stacey serves in a role that may often be behind the scenes, but is deeply important to the strength and function of the ministry. From communication and coordination to financial responsibilities, she works with care, integrity, and a desire to honor the Lord in all that she does. 

Stacey is a valuable part of the New Beginnings Ministries family, serving with humility and faithfulness as the church continues its mission to share the love, truth, and hope of Jesus Christ in the Fayette community.
